What is self storage?

Self storage is a service that allows individuals or businesses to rent storage units when they need extra space to store their belongings.

What can I store?

You can store most items, however UK Self Storage facilities operate under British law and as such it is illegal to store objects such as firearms, illegal substances (drugs, explosives), dangerous weapons or anything else that is illegal or that could be harmful to public health. When can I access my unit?

Our core opening hours are 9am to 5pm, but we do offer extended hours between 5am-11pm. Please reach out to us for further details.

How do I book a unit?

Book a unit using the 'Book Now' button in the top right hand side of the page, or follow this link: https://www.sloanesqstorage.co.uk/sites. From here, follow the instructions and select a unit and duration time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payments made through our booking platform, which is accessible via the website. You can use your credit or debit card to make your payment. We do not accept cash for payments.

Do I have to pay a deposit to book?

There is no deposit needed to reserve or book a unit with us.

Do I need insurance?

Your goods are not automatically insured. However, we do require that they are adequately protected. We accept some policies that you have acquired yourself, providing they are substantial and meet our pre-approved standards. We also offer customers a dedicated Storeprotect product that is industry standard and allows you to set your cover for your belongings.

Can I access my unit on Bank Holidays?

Yes, we are open on all Bank Holidays throughout the year.

Is there onsite CCTV?

Yes, we have 24/7 CCTV on site.

Do you have customer parking available?

There is a drop off bay onsite for offloading.

What notice do I need to provide?

If circumstances change, we ask that you provide us with 14 days’ written notice, as noted in the Terms & Conditions: https://www.sloanesqstorage.co.uk/terms-and-conditions . Further details are specified on your storage agreement.
